Cast Stone Mantels : Affordable lightweight cast stone mantels. Easy installation, fully non-combustible. No resins are used in the manufacture of these items, be wary of manufacturers who use resins because they will tend to smell when heated. We offer the two best brands in the business. DRACME cast stone mantels are made of a cementatious mix and pulverized stone. They are thin cast in one piece and can be somewhat customized to fit many different applications. They offer 2 different textures and two different colors. Standard orders deliver in 6 weeks.

BALMER cast stone mantels are made of a re-enforced gypsum cement. Unlike traditional gypsum, it is formulated with a compressive strength of 12,000 psi. It is thin cast in sections, usually 3 pieces. They offer only one texture and color for thin cast stone, but some models are available in a white unfinished gypsum as well. Standard orders deliver in 2 weeks.
